Pubs have always been about bringing people together, so the idea behind Ember felt like a really natural fit for us.
There was a brilliant buzz in the pub and it was great seeing people actually chatting, meeting someone new and making connections in real life.
Ozan and the team were great to work with and the whole activation felt really easy and natural within the pub environment. We’d definitely love to have them back.

What is Ember?
Ember is the iPhone and Android app that shows you who else is at the same venue tonight and up for meeting someone. You wave, and if they wave back you both find out. No endless chat: the whole point is saying hi in person.
Do I need to download an app?
Yes. Download Ember from the App Store or Google Play before you join a night. Once you are inside a participating pub, open the app, choose the venue and enter tonight's room.
Is Ember free?
Yes, Ember is free for guests. You just need to be 18 or over and actually at the venue. Match at a participating venue and it even earns you a reward at the bar.
Who can see my profile?
Only people in the same room as you tonight can see your profile: your first name, photos, bio and interests. Your email address and phone number are never shown to anyone.
What happens to my data after the night?
Every wave and match from the night is deleted within minutes of the room closing. No feeds, no history, nothing follows you home. Your account and profile stay until you delete them.
